I wanna know

where the hell they got my home number?
This is beginning to really piss me off. Every other day, I get a phone call on the home phone for me from someone who barely has a grasp on the english language. Then they launch into a spiel about "how I've been approved for a credit card with rates epsecially for college students." And this is coming from Discover and Mastercard among others.
Hmm....
Wait, I already have a credit card. It's Visa, and I notice that Visa never calls me. I think my school sold me out. Those bastards. Those money-grubbing bastards. Really. Here, I put my faith into an institution of higher learning only to have those greedy, scumsucking, bottom-dwellers give my information to a credit card company. So then this company decides to call me at home. I don't want to talk when I'm at home. What makes you think that I "was approved" in the first place. I did not sign up. I know I didn't unless I've got the worst case of sleepwalking that has ever existed because I must walk out of my room, sit down, turn my comp on, browse the web, and then sign up for a credit card all while being asleep.
That would be simply spectacular, on many levels, the least of which is that I'm a surly bastard if I get out of bed before I want to.
Also, who taught these people to speak English? I think they went out on the street and found people with the thickest language or the least rudimentary skills of speaking it. Do I really trust you if you've got Abdul telling me "Roosty yew arre approoved for a Disssscover card for college age stoodents?" No. I don't trust you. Like I want someone whom can barely speak English looking at a screen with my personal information. Next thing I know, I'll be getting money from Nigeria.
At least I've shut the last three "small business loan rate credit" people up with an ultra rude,"How did you get this number? This isn't a business. Quit calling here," in the snarkiest (thank you becka for the word) tone I can muster. Just wait until I figure out an even more suitable reply for these college age credit people.
