Sometimes I wonder

I was cruising bat websites today checking out the latest merchandise for slowpitch softball bats because the season is creeping up on us. Since it's 2006, I decided that I wanted a new bat for the season. Don't get me wrong, I like my bat I have now, but I wanted to upgrade it a bit to a different model with a different design, basically different bat innards.
I've got my eye on a couple of different ones, running about $170 or so. That's not actually that bad because they're on sale, down from between the $240-$260 they cost normally. I'm a DeMarini guy so I tend to favor DeMarini bats. However out of curiousity, I checked out Worth just to see what they had on the market as well.
That's where I saw it.
The 2006 Worth PST. It looked like a sweet stick until I saw the price tag.
$400.
Are you kidding me? Four hundred dollars? Tim and I were discussing this and I told him, that this bat must have been made out of straight plutonium. For 400 bones, you had better be able to take the bat out and swing one handed and hit homers. Seriously, 400 bucks? I thought 300 was very unreasonable.
I bet it's made out of magic rock. That's got to be it.
