Today's word is suck

Mind you, I'm actually in a pretty good mood today. However that being said, today's word is suck.
Dictionary.com defines suck as the following

1. To draw (liquid) into the mouth by movements of the tongue and lips that create suction.
2.
1. To draw in by establishing a partial vacuum: a cleaning device that sucks up dirt.
2. To draw in by or as if by a current in a fluid.
3. To draw or pull as if by suction: teenagers who are sucked into a life of crime.
3. To draw nourishment through or from: suck a baby bottle.
4. To hold, moisten, or maneuver (a sweet, for example) in the mouth.
5. Vulgar Slang. To perform fellatio on.

My definition is this:
When desperately trying to set up an interview for a story and telling the subject that you would email them to set up a time, the subject doesn't respond back. That wasn't a big deal as the subject was out of state while visiting a college that she was being recruited by. The problem lies when you see the subject while at dinner at Applebee's and you tell the subject, "hey, I emailed you," and she says that she'll check it. She doesn't check it and you wanted to do the interview tonight at 10:30.
That sucks.
