Oh the joy of issues.

Yes, in response to some comments I do have issues.
For people who know me, I have a tendency to hurt myself. Most of the time, it's just minor scrapes, scratches and cuts but every once in a while, I pull a doozy.
This time, I pulled a doozy.
For the first time in my life, I pulled my hamstring. Let me tell you, there's nothing fun about it. I noticed something was very wrong on Saturday, when I had plenty of discomfort. Sunday was much the same. Monday, however, things took a turn. I woke up and tried to get out of bed. Next thing I knew, I was on the floor. Showering was a pain in the butt as I had to drag my leg up and over. Finally at about 1, I called my friend Clay who is an ATC at HC. He said he'd take a look and so he did.
Fortunately after an examination, he said all my ligaments were still there. That was good news because I was actually worried that I finally tore something. After sitting me up on the table, he told me that it was in fact a pulled hamstring, somewhere between Grade 1 and Grade 2. I'm pretty sure the pain has been hovering somewhere between Grade 755 and Grade 9000. I've actually been responsible and have been icing, resting and elevating it.
I'm hoping things get better soon. I'm afraid that I won't be able to play our arch rivals on Sunday and after as bad as today was, I'm not going to push it.
Yes, that's a record for me.
